Reflashing ECM & Pin Reading


When car manufactures were coming up with different ways to prevent car theft, they made it, if it isn’t the rite key, the car wasn’t going to crank. By using transponders in the keys. Different manufactures had there on way of programming the car, that was to bring it back to them to re-flash the vehicle so it cost a lot of money and aggravation. We are talking about re flashing the ecm security (not the cars parameters such as fuel flow idle extra. that is totally different.) We have to read the chip, unmask it decode it then program it to a transponder. If you have one of the vehicles in the list is a ready to start key that you need. Witch requires you to send a working lock and ecm the lock that you send has to be the same as the ign lock if they are different it want work. So you would have to send the ign lock. When you get it back you plug the ecm back in and start vehicle.
